Itinerary

Day1 Transfer From Chandigarh to Narkanda(192 Kms,6-7 Hrs)

  • After you arrive at the Chandigarh Airport, we will make your travel planning to Narkanda through Shimla, which is around 192 km and takes 7-8 hrs.
  • Narkanda is said to be the former capital of British India and is actively known as the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
  • On the route to Shimla, you will also enjoy Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Manki Point, Kasauli, Mansa Devi Temple, Pinjore Garden, Timbertrail, and Solan.
  • While travelling through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, and Narkanda Apple Orchards, you will enjoy the snow-capped Shivalik mountain ranges that proudly showcase their stunning views of the Himalayas.
  • After reaching Narkanda, you will spend the night here.

Day2 Transfer from Narkanda to Sangla (161 Kms, 7-8 Hrs)

  • After having a flavoursome breakfast, we will start our journey to Kinnaur Sangla through Rampur, which is stated to be the gateway to Kinnaur valley.
  • Here we will enjoy the Hatu peak (3,400 metres, 11,154 feet) over Narkanda, and from here, the mesmerising views of the Central Himalayas can be enjoyed thoroughly.
  • Here we will also head towards an ancient Goddess Kali Temple made completely of wooden structures.
  • While travelling, we will make you visit the famous Bhimakali temple present over Sarahan, Hawa Mahal, Cricket Ground and the oldest Mahal of the king of Himachal.
  • This temple is believed to have been doing human sacrificing rituals for two centuries.
  • After a visit to the temple, we will head towards Sangla valley.
  • At Sangla valley, we will stay there overnight.

Day3 Local Sightseeing of Chitkul And Sangla Valley

  • After breakfast at Sangla, we enthral our journey towards Kamru village, and from there, a short walk will take us to the Kamru Fort.
  • Here, a temple devoted to Kamaksha Devi is residing peacefully.
  • Being a populous village, Sangla is present on the right side of the bank of the Baspa River.
  • This village is famous for its prolific fertile soil situated at an elevation of 2621 m from sea level and 17 km away from Karcham.

  • Chitkul is another village present in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
  • The Baspa has been crowned the most precious and beautiful valley of the Himalayas.

  • At Sangla, we will stay overnight.

Day4 Sangla to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 metres / 9,048 feet (40km/ 2-3 hrs)

  • After breakfast at the respective hotel, we will drive towards Kalpa village, which will take 2-3 hrs.
  • During the trip, we will visit Reckong Peo and experience the local markets.
  • Reckong Peo is designated as the district headquarters.
  • We will enjoy our lunch at a local restaurant, and there you can opt for the Indian and Tibetan cuisines.
  • After lunch, we will roam around nearby Kalpa village and Roghi village. These villages are particularly known for the pine forests and apples.
  • You can enjoy the finest view of the Kinnaur Kailash mountain from here, around 6000 metres.
  • The site seems heavenly in the morning as the golden rays of the sun enlighten the beauty of the place.
  • You will enjoy a night's stay at Kalpa valley.

Day5 Kalpa to Tabo Via Nako Lake, Gue Monastery 3,050 metres /10010 feet (150 Kms / 9-10 hrs)

  • We will drive towards Tabo after having our breakfast, and this ride will take us around 9-10 hours.
  • During the trip, we will go through Puh and Nako.
  • After visiting Nako Lake, we will explore the village and will have lunch at Nako.
  • Later we will proceed towards Tabo, and during the trip, we will go through Gue village, the last settlement over the Indo-Tibetan border.
  • Here we will see a preserved mummy of a famed Buddhist monk from around 600 years ago.
  • After reaching Tabo, you will check in to the hotel.
  • Then, we will be entering the enchanting Spiti valley, known as the cold desert of the Himalayas.

Day6 Tabo to Kaza 3,200 metres / 10,500 feet, (51 kms / 3 hrs)

  • After breakfast, we will head towards Tabo monastery, which is termed to be one of the oldest monasteries in the Himalayas.
  • Then we will travel towards Kaza, which will take around 3 hrs.
  • During the trip, we will visit Dhankar village along with its monastery and Fort.
  • You can enjoy your sip of tea with the locals in this area.
  • After reaching Kaza, you will check in to your hotel and can explore the local market in the evening.

Day7 Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs)

  • After completing our breakfast, we will visit Langza village, Chicham Bridge(Asia’s Highest Bridge), and Key Monastery.
  • From the top, you can experience the scenic vibe of yaks grazing in the endless green pastures.
  • If the weather remains favourable, we can opt to drive through Hikkim(World’s Highest Post Office) and the Komic Village(World’s Highest Village), which is currently the highest village with 4,450 metres in height.
  • After this, we will head towards Key Monastery and to the village of Kibber.
  • You can also have a relaxed walk on the nearby mountain to see the Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex.
  • In Kibber, we will have our lunch at a local restaurant where you can explore many options available for Tibetan cuisines.
  • You will spend the night at Kaza.

Day8 Kaza to Chandratal Lake(114 Kms,5-6 HRS)

  • After breakfast, we will proceed towards Battal crossing the Kunzum Pass (15,100 feet) to reach Chandratal Lake.
  • Enjoy a stunning glimpse of the CB Range Peaks through the travel and drench your soul with love. This 2.5 km-long body of deep blue water has a circumference of 2.5 km.
  • According to some prominent believers, this is where Yudhisthira, the eldest Pandava brother, was taken by God Indra to heaven on a chariot.
  • You can appreciate this leisure day to seek the view of splendid Snow peaks surrounded by the natural lake.
  • Here you can enjoy camping at Chandratal Lake.

Day9 Chandertal to Manali Via Koksar, Sissu, Atal Tunnel, Solang Valley 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet ( 130 k

  • Getting ready for the longest journey, we have to start early for Manali, which will take us around 6-7hrs.
  • On the way to the location, we will enjoy breakfast at the Chandratal camping site and go through multiple beautiful places such as Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, Beas Kund, Sissu, Chandratal Lake, Bhrigu Lake, Rahala Waterfalls, Jogini Falls, Gulaba, Nehru Kund, and Atal Tunnel.
  • By evening we will be entering the beautiful valley of Manali.
  • After reaching Manali in the evening, we will check in for the night's stay at the hotel.

Day10 Manali to Chandigarh (310 km,8-9 hrs)

  • After breakfast, we will safely drive you to Chandigarh through Kullu
  • In this route, you will enjoy Hanogi Devi temple and Pandoh Dam.
  • Later, we will precede our journey towards Chandigarh.
  • We will reach Chandigarh in the evening and end this beautiful journey with you.
